How does the Manion Company do such amazing, world-class work and still deliver human-scale client relationships? It is quite simply who Mike Manion is. Over the years he has kept this integrity in his business by hiring craftsmen who share that approach to life, and doing business with clients who value it, as well.
It all started in the mid-1970s when Mike was going to college and working in heavy construction. By the mid-1980s, Mike was operating out of a small shop with a few employees and working on one McCormick & Schmick’s, plus a few other smaller restaurant jobs a year. Within fifteen years, the Manion Company employed six craftsman, with a contract crew of eight available for on-site restaurant installations. Mike’s in-shop crew worked on projects from a matching set of gold-leafed, hand-carved, marble topped side tables to the executive offices of Oregon Steel. And, his on-site crew was building restaurants like the K Street McCormick & Schmick’s in Washington, D.C.
In all these years, pride in workmanship and enjoyment in many jobs well-done remains the key reason Manion Company clients return again and again. Mike and his incredible crew of craftsmen continue to deliver fine furnishings for homes, offices and restaurants – beyond expectations.
